discrimination ??/

To day (July 4, 2014) what happened to me, I would like to drop it down to remind myself discrimination still exists in Canada.

This morning when I got on a bus at Williams and Stevenson, the bus driver looked at my U pass. He then asked me for my picture I.d.  He asked me what I studying.  I told him "English" He replied " Good".

Later when a Chinese couple got on the bus, he asked me when they got off the bus they have to stamp their Compass again.  The husband did not acknowledge him and the wife replied she did not understand English.

The bus driver spoke to himself, " you are living in this country, you are receiving the pension and the medical benefits, at least you have the respect of speaking English"

The wife yelled out in Mandarin " I do not know what you are talking about, I do not know English".
A passenger translated the bus driver's speech to her and asked how long they had been in Canada. She replied " They had been in Richmond for four years .  The speak no English."

When the couple got off at Brighouse Station, the bus driver told them m "Enjoy your Canada Pension"
